Documents

Every document RSSE issues, what it covers, and how to ask for the one you need. The specimens below are free to look at — no account, no login — so you can see the layout and the field list before you order.

Safety data sheet (SDS)

Per product. States the hazards, the handling precautions and the transport classification used on the shipment.

How it is looked up. Item number — the catalogue number printed on the label. A pack-size suffix such as -25mg is ignored when you search.

The document itself. The SDS for the material you hold is sent with the shipment and re-issued whenever the classification changes.

The specimen is watermarked and carries placeholder values. It is not a valid document for any product, lot or shipment.

Certificate of analysis (COA)

Per lot. Records the tests performed, the specification applied and the result obtained for the batch you received.

How it is looked up. Catalogue number and, if you have it, the batch number printed on the label — the certificate is issued against the batch, not against the product.

The document itself. Ask for the certificate for your lot and we send the document for that batch.

Certificate of origin (COO)

Per shipment. States the country of origin of the goods and accompanies the invoice it is drawn against.

How it is looked up. Invoice number and destination country — those two are what the document is drawn against, not the catalogue number.

The document itself. Tell us at the quotation stage if the importing country needs chamber or consular legalisation; it changes the paperwork and the dispatch time.

Request the document for your material

Quote the number that identifies it — the batch number for a certificate, the invoice number for a certificate of origin, the catalogue number for a safety data sheet — and we send the document for that item. Nothing is behind a login.

Frequently asked

Do I need an account to download a document?
No. The specimens on this page are open to anyone. The document issued for your material — the certificate for your batch, the SDS for the product you hold, the certificate of origin for your shipment — is sent by email on request, and no login is involved either.
Why is the document issued per lot rather than per product?
Because content and purity are assigned to the batch that was made, not to the catalogue entry. A single catalogue number can be released as several batches over time, each with its own measured results, so a document that was not drawn against your batch would not describe your material.
Can you provide a certificate of origin before the goods ship?
A certificate of origin is drawn against the invoice, so it is issued with the shipment rather than before it. If your importing country requires chamber or consular legalisation, tell us at the quotation stage — that changes the paperwork and the dispatch time.
Is the specimen a real document?
No. Every specimen on this page is watermarked and carries placeholder values, so that it cannot be mistaken for a certificate or a safety data sheet for a real batch. It exists so you can see the layout and the field list before ordering.
