Quality and documentation
Every lot is documented. This page states what the documents contain, so you can check them against your own supplier-audit checklist.
Certificate of analysis
A certificate is issued per lot, not per product. It records the catalogue number, the batch number, the tests performed, the specification applied, the result obtained for that lot, the storage and shipping conditions, and the retest date. The analytical basis for any assigned content or purity value is stated on the certificate.
You can look at the layout before you order: download a specimen certificate (PDF). The specimen is watermarked and carries representative data — it is not a valid certificate for any lot. The certificate that ships with your order carries the measured results for that batch.
What ships with each lot
| Document | Scope |
|---|---|
| Certificate of analysis (COA) | Per lot. Catalogue and batch number, tests, specification, result, retest date. |
| Safety data sheet (SDS) | Per product, with the transport classification used on the shipment. |
| Specification sheet | One page per item, available without an account. |
| Supporting spectra | Available on request, with the batch number quoted. |
Accreditation
RSSE is accredited as a reference material producer to ISO 17034 by CNAS (China) and ANAB (United States) — two independent accreditation bodies on two continents.
| Accreditation body | Economy | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| CNAS | China | Reference material production, including value assignment and uncertainty evaluation |
| ANAB | United States | Production of reference materials for pharmaceutical analysis |
Certificate numbers and scope annexes are issued by the accreditation bodies and are provided to customers and auditors on request — write to [email protected] and they are sent the same working day.
How to verify a certificate
- Check that the catalogue and batch numbers on the certificate match the label on the vial.
- Check that the tests listed cover the identity and purity attributes your method relies on.
- Check the retest date against your date of use.
- Check that the storage conditions on the certificate match how the material has been stored.

If anything on a certificate is unclear or does not match the material you received, write to [email protected] quoting both numbers. We will re-issue or clarify in writing.
Statements about accreditation are made only where a certificate exists to support them. If your supplier audit requires a specific facility or quality-system document, request it in writing and we will state exactly what is and is not available.
